The minister’s role is one of Leadership, finding ways to make the message of God’s love and promise become so real that we, the people, incorporate it into our daily lives. A leader inspires the church community to believe that we each have an important role in creating peace, ending hunger, caring for the planet and reaching out a helping hand.
The Minister leads us in acceptance – welcoming all people to the service or the building.
The minister creates an atmosphere of listening for God’s words, watching for God’s opportunities, being aware of God’s miracles, celebrating the fullness of life.

EPIC SHIFT
The usher board Ministry of GFT consists of women who are diligent in their duties of offering assistance at the door, helping the congregation with seating, facilitating the offerings, as well as other services that contribute to the worship service.
Evangelists are preachers who spread religious messages across the nations. An evangelist's description encompasses teaching, preaching, giving and training. The lives of an evangelist and her/his family are dedicated to the ministry, because so much of their time is spent ministering to others.
At GFT we absolutely love our youth. Pastor McMillon has dedicated every 4th sunday to the children. Our youth ministry involves working with children and encouraging them to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. It involves teaching them about the Bible and God, as well as nurturing their spiritual gifts and training them for leadership roles in the church. We include various components, such as Christian education, music, art, sports, and fellowship.
